Qais Al Maskati
Managing Director & CEO
Mr. Al Maskati brings over 20 years of experience in real estate development and private equity in the GCC region. He was a co-founder of three leading real estate development companies in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. He was instrumental in listing Bahrain’s first real estate company on the local stock exchange with a parallel listing in Kuwait. Mr. Al Maskati established a mortgage finance company in Bahrain and setup an asset management firm licensed by the Capital Markets Authority in Saudi Arabia. He has managed both sell-side and buy-side mandates in several sectors such as hospitality and leisure, information technology, education and consumer products, and he is currently a board member in FEP Capital (Egypt). He holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University, USA.
Omar El Maghawry
Mr. El Maghawry has over 17 years of experience in private equity and investment banking. He has set up Egypt’s first PE sovereign fund. He was a Director in Cairo Financial Holding (Egypt), Managing Director of CORECAP (UAE), Vice President in Abraaj Capital (UAE) and Manager in Barclays Bank (Egypt). Mr. El Maghawry holds an MBA in Business Administration from the American University of London. Omar is the CEO of FEP Capital (Egypt) and he is involved in all post-acquisition activities within the group.
Hasan Al Mansoor
Director of Investment
Mr. Al Mansoor has over 17 years of experience in finance and investment across multiple sectors including investment banking, real estate, aviation, and assurance services. He was previously the CFO of Addax Investment Bank (Bahrain), and a Director with RealCAPITA (Bahrain) where he established an asset management firm in Saudi Arabia. He is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) from the United Kingdom and holds an MBA in Financial Management from University of Manchester (UK). He manages the groups deal origination and due diligence work.
Associate Director – Post Acquisition
Mr. Jaffar has more than 17 years of experience in the financial services sector. He led the launch of a $100 million private equity fund at Oasis Capital Bank (Bahrain), in partnership with Credit Suisse. Previously, he was with Seera Investment Bank (Bahrain), where he was involved in various buyout transactions in several sectors such as logistics, visual effects, financial services and energy. Mr. Jaffar holds a Master Degree of Actuarial Science from City University, London. He manages the financial and legal structuring of the group’s investment portfolio.
